Car is dropped 1 1/2". It is an 89 with 50k ORIGINAL miles and has stock shock/struts. The guy goes over a bump/pothole and the shocks/struts bounce a little (don't follow the road.) He cares more about a comfortable ride than a road race car.
What do you guys feel are the best strut/shock combo with that in mind?

Bilsteins offer fantastic ride quality and they have the most robust design out there. Robust price too They will dampen everything from stock springs all the way up to 800lbs/inch front springs... Beyond that I would start looking into the MM valved Bilsteins.

I used the Monroe Sensatrack shocks and struts with Eibach springs. I got em from Pep Boys and they were fairly cheap. This is a good way to go if he doesnt want to spend a ton.
