ok, you know how its a 4 piece gakets set. should i not use the front and back gaskets and put 1 inch thick of rtv instead of the paper looking gaskets? ive done this before on my mustang but im doing this for my bud. whats the beast bet? thanks eddie. I am going to use the exhaust manifold gaskets. just wondering if those front to back gaskets leak

dont use the cork gaskets, but uh, 1 inch thick of RTV is quite a lot, lol. Just squeeze it out along that groove like toothpaste [Smile]

I used the gasket in the front with rtv and the rear i used rtv only. Be sure to use a good layer on the rear so it seals up good. You dont want to find out the hard way like i did.

I have used the rtv a couple times but now I just use the rubber gaskets but double check all tha way around before u seal everything up to make sure all the gaskets are seated properly
