I over tighten it. Does it really matter that much?

That's what typically happens when the wrong hardware is used.

What wrong hardware? Its what can with the milodon pump

There isn't a washer on the bolt. If you attempt to torque it, you will never get the proper reading. And I'd reconsider using a bolt that's obviously too short.

You have to use a washer, but have still done the same thing when I wasn't using a torque wrench to achieve the proper torque. You need a new pump, 17 dollars at autozone. [ July 20, 2006, 11:46 PM: Message edited by: AJBlackGT ]
