I was coming home from work yesterday and about 10 min. into my drive on the freeway my car(87 5.0/speed density) just cut out on me while in gear. I tried to start it in nuetral but the car would just crank and not start, i also tried to put in 4th while i was still rolling and nothing happened, i have already replaced the module in hope that it just got too hot but it still wont start. Any ideas what it could be?

Test for both fuel and spark. It could be the TFI module, coil, fuel pump, or another fuel or ignition related component.

Thanks, but i figured out that my coil was fried.
