Code 79 from an OBD 1 code reader on a 90 gt reads: a/c system on during self test.

I dont have any a/c components in my engine bay, and any wiring for the a/c stuff is still all there.

After that I wanted to test it one more time just in case I missed a code or read it wrong. Well when I was testing it, the only code that came up was code 11; meaning system pass. That was the only code that came up.

So I went to start up the car and it still ran funny and wouldnt idle.

Any help would be appreciated Thanks --rick
