How do i put a Fox T5 into a 95 car? Being that the input shaft on a SN95 is longer, what do i need to do to put a tranny out of a Fox into a 95 GT. Thanks! -Scott

Ha... i know the answer to this question. Just an input shaft. 23 spline most likely. I just had to buy a shorter shaft because I took roberts ORIGINAL transmission and put it in my fox... input was too long, so the short of the long is you need to get an input shaft for a 94-95 T5, they're about 60-70 dollars and of course more depending on if you get upgraded ones, remanufactered etc. Technically a fox tranny WILL go into a 94-95 but the input will not go into the piolot bearing enough to consider it "safe". yeah but how do i take a fox tranny and put it in my car. im assuming i will have to use a fox bellhousing, maybe starter, and which driveshaft...or yeah tell me whats up. im tryin to put in a 2.92 ratio with "super high alloy" gear sets with a fox input shaft in my 95 car(which has a slighty longer input shaft)

You'll want to use all the components from your 95 setup, so your 95 driveshaft, bellhousing, starter etc, just a new inputshaft is needed [ April 13, 2006, 08:08 PM: Message edited by: BlacksheepMod50 ]
