if the inertia switch doesn't work then would that be the problem of my fuel pump not working and would that be the problem of not letting my car start?

Take a 12v test light, install a paperclip or probe on both wires. Turn the key on, the fuel pump should run for 10 seconds. Check and see if the test light lights up when you touch each paperclip. If the light dosent light up on both circuits then you've got a power issue. If one of the circuits lights up but not the other, then the inertia switch is tripped or faulty.

i'll try that, but i can't hear my fuel pump right now will that test still work?

That will tell you if the fuel pump is getting power. But that dosen't mean there couldnt be a short in between the inertia switch and the fuel pump connector. The system goes fuse - relay - inertia switch - fuel pump. Did you replace the fuel pump because it wouldn't start or just for the hell of it?

well i was going to do it sooner or later so i did it as an upgrade mostly.

So it dosen't start after you installed the new fuel pump? Did you connect the electrical connector? Maybe you've got a bad pump.

the fuel pump is brand new that can't be it.

Well if the circuit was good and in working order when you replaced the fuel pump, then you install a new fuel pump and the fuel pump dosent work then its one of two things. Not connected or bad pump.
