anyone know if i can pass tech with no mufflers? and if i have my battery bungy corded to the fender? i have a optima battery that has a different clamp style to hold it down, and i cant find a place that has them.
anyone know where i can get the plastic hold down for my optima battery?

mufflers= depends on when and where you go. Battery= no, unless you get lucky

Javier, getting pass tech is a hit or miss kinda thing. so far they haven't opened my hood with this new car. they probably think it's a four banger. Carlos(losbadgt) rarely gets asked to open his hood too. i know this doesn't help, but might give you a bit of peace of mind. [ January 25, 2006, 01:57 PM: Message edited by: Jmir018 ]

you can get long J hooks with a rubber strap that is made to hold in batteries like optima's to the stock battery tray for around 10 bucks at kragen in the battery accessory area.

j hooks are not legal either, but it all comes down to who is looking at the car, and how fast it is.
