do i just need to buy a new belt or what do i need?
The uy who had it befor me decided to hack up the ac lines coming out of the thing nearest the firewall.

Just get a smaller belt, you can buy an eliminator braket, but whats the point?

with the march ac elimiator brack you can get rid of the whole bulky ac bracket and you eliminate a pulley without using a dummy one. they have it at summit with the part # of the shorter belt you need.

Ford motorsports also has one that moves your powersteering pump up and gets rid of the AC unit.

Thats the one my friend has it worked just fine for him, and he bought a smaller belt.
