i have a very good running 91 lincoln lsc with a low milage h.o 5.0.The engine on my 92 mustang looks like it took a shit would i be able to put this engine in my mustang with out any problems?

It will work no problem, just need to change some accessory brakets.

yeah i think the lincoln engine is the same as the mustang 5.0 execpt for the accesories, it even has the same firing order which i think is different than a non h.o

i dont think theres much difference with a lincoln 5.0 engine and that of a 5.0 mustang engine. the difference would be on a thunderbird h.o 5.0 engine those are the ones with the shitty cam,pistons,and intake.

thats what im getting at. the mustang used a ho engine and the lincoln used a ho engine where the cougar and t bird did not. im simply asking to be corrected if im wrong.

well i have seen some cougars and t-birds with the H.O but the internals are not like those of a mustang or lincoln

well i just finished swaping the engines from the lincoln to the mustang and all i had to change over was the wiring harness that goes on the injectors and the starter wires, it was super easy.only thing that sucks is i changed the clutch and put in a new pilot bearing and a throwout bearing but its now making a wierd noise when i push on the clutch could it be the throw out bearing maybe i didnt put it in right or something???
