the clutch swich that wont let you start the car unless you press the pedal in controls idle when you press the cluch in and out while sitting at idle, you can actually play with the idle by pressing the clutch pedal in and releasing it, what could make this happen??

So you're saying your idle wanders when you press the clutch in?

If so, check your TPS and adjust your idle using the idle screw or clearing codes then re-plugging your IAB on your throttle body.

There are 2 switches on the back of the clutch pedal bar. One doesn't let the car start unless you have the clutch pushed in. The other tells the computer that the cluch is pushed in so it knows when to retard timing between shifts.

Also try cleaning your 10-pin connectors. If this problem only happens when your engine is warm, try another TFI module on your distributor.

sounds like the computer may be bad, make sure that the clutch pedal is not rubbing through a wire harness or something.
