i found a groundpounder tubular k-member for a good price and was wondering if it was good as i am pulling my motor this weekend

It's average. Its no griggs or anything.

I would not touch the Ground Pounder K-Member. The ONLY K-Members I would recommend is Griggs & Maximum because they are very well built. Do some research on Corral.net and www.corner-carvers.com about the various K-Members. You'll find that Griggs & Maximum have the real good experiences. Some of the other K-members have had failure and fitment issues.

Ground Pounder has worked fine for me for the past 4 years. Bolted right up and only required minimal alignment. It is a drag race k-member though and as such I would not think of using it in a road race situation.

I don't see why not unless you plan on off roading or running through pot holes, which I am sure you are not. It's plenty beefy but the Griggs is beefier, and heavier.
