Sorry for having two posts in a row, but I forgot to add why I thought my EGR needed to be cleaned. Before and after my tranny was rebuilt, 500 miles ago possibly I had this problem when I get done driving my car and I go put it in park, the idle sometimes drops to 400-500 and back to 800 a few times. And 5% of the time it dies when the idle kicks down. It isn't a big deal, but irritating. It is an AOD and only does it when it is not in gear which is strange, loves to be driven, but not sitting???

Try tightening your idle screw a quarter or half a turn.
