Hello guys. I need help installing a tach.
I just want to make sure that I know where all the wires go before I get started.
I've heard that this tach might need a pill. I don't think that's the case at all, but could someone just confirm this?
Thanks.
Blacks (two.. one long one short) go to ground.
White goes to the light (headlight)
Red goes to power
green goes to the rpm thingy.
Does that sound right?

White to your headlight fuse, ground(black) to your body inside somewhere, power to a switched 12v source, green to the NOT red wire on your coil. Also, you dont need a pill.

are both blacks ground? i don't get why i have two black wires..

One black ground is for the Tach power, the other ground is for your light...
