my 92lx shakes/vibrates heavily during high rpm, im think it's just worn out motor mounts, but does anyone have an idea of what else it could possibly be?

Could be your drive shaft is out of balance. A bad motor mount will usually make a clunking noise when you accelerate from a stop.
