Why do I always find difficulty in looking for a pump for my 98 cobra? Everybody in the stores say I would be fine using a 97 and older pump cause they are all the same(The pumps only say to 97, then 99 and up). Are they the same? Do I need something fancy? Only 450-475. I just need to know if anybody knows what the big deal behing "1998" pumps. My car comes factory with a 190lph. I am stepping up to a 255lph but need to order the right pump.

The 97 are the same as the 98 cobra. Walboro probally made a typo.
