I know that the valves are not perpendicular to the piston on a 302.Is there reason for the extra reliefs?I noticed that when shopping for pistons the extra reliefs are an option.

Aftermarket pistons come with 4 sets because they have valve reliefs for the TFS Twisted Wedge heads, which are in a different location than other heads. [ February 16, 2005, 11:21 PM: Message edited by: The Nick ]

most of them have 4 because it is easier for the manufacture not to have to make right and left pistons. Higher quality pistons only have two in most cases.
