I have longtubes and matching shorty hpipe. When my car blew it was shooting a lot of oil in my exhaust. Does anyone know where or how to clean it. I tried gunk cleaners and carb type cleaners but it is still on there. Any ideas?

Simple green, and then just let it burn out.

so simple green right before I put them on? Or do i put it on first and clean it like that? I don't want oil residue on my pipes.

Is the oil in the headers, or on the outside?

Yeah, it'll burn up when you run the car.

Just dump some simple green and high pressure water in there to spew it all out.

If it's a HUGE amount of oil thats already dried, you can use a wire brush, but if its just small deposits I wouldn't bother.

i know it will burn soon but just did not want black deposits coming onto my rear white bumper. I might get a steam cleaner in them this weekend. Thanks for the input.

just put the headers on and run the car like that till it burns out. That way you wont get any deposits on your bumper and you'll sound like an F'n nascar at the same time!!! [burnout] [patriot]

Then when its all burned out put the rest of the exhaust on.
