well about three months ago I had a new t5 installed in my car and it has been running great, but recently its been whining while im in nuetral and while its in gear when im driving. Its not a loud noise but im kinda worried because it wasnt doing this untill about a week ago. what could this be? any ideas why its doing this?

Does the whining stop when you press the clutch pedal ? If it does, I vote for throwout bearing also.

yes, when i press in the clutch the whinning stops. when i put it into gear and start driving it whines again
