Will the spidle, hub, rotor, and calipers off of a 96 cause any wheel offset problems(tie rods or something) on my 93 fox? I was told to use 94 or 95 stuff in the past for the conversion. [burnout] [burnout] [burnout]

You can use anything up to 2004. The 2005 stuff is the only setup you cannot use. I have some 1999 spindles up front and they work great with my 2003 cobra rims. Whoever told you that it wouldn't work has not done their research.

94-95 front spindles share the same front track as 87-93 spindles (but 5 lug)

96+ spindles offset the tire 8mm on each side, widening the track.

I am probably wrong, but there needs to be a stack of washers on an 87-93 stock a-arm around the balljoint to take up for this slop, that you otherwise wouldn't need on a 94-95 spindle, and you will have to make a slight alignment change to keep the camber angle correct (offsetting the wheel caused this), but I'm sure you'd need an alignment anyways.

Joe, your 100% correct on what you said. If you plan on using the newer spindles on fox ball joints you'll need 0.330" tall spacers, 5/8" inside diameter , 1.5" outside diameter (or a stack of washers totaling 0.330"). This is needed to properly fasten the crown nut on the lower control arm ball joint (the fox ball joint is about 1/2 taller than the SN95s and you will run out of threads). If you are buying new tubular A arms, get fox arms with the SN95 ball joints.

Can't I just go out and get some SN-95 ball joints and install them on my stock fox lower control arms to avoid using washers? Also, will it just need to be realigned afterwards or will I have "alignment problems?" [Confused]

I think it would be easier to take the spec's listed above to a machine shop to have the proper spacers made. I can't imagine it would cost all that much. I've never installed SN-95 ball joints on stock arms though I imagine that would also work. I would get an alignment

when i converted to five lug and SN95 spindle/hubs i needed a longer tie rod end so i just went with a bump steer kit that covered two issues at once. I bought my brakes from Griggs and if memory serves me i had to use these spacer bushings they gave me. Its a great mod.. my car rides better and no longer needs wheel bearings serviced.

Thats cause everything you do to your car is Pimp shit!

Well dang! So now I need spacers and a bumpsteer kit and what else? Please let me know so that I will be able to get all the parts at once. Can't have the car down too long! LMK [patriot]
