i got a question for you guys i have a 86 motor w/e7 heads and gt40 intake it's still speed density. im looking to throw a cam in it that will work with speed density i know i cant put anything radical.any opinions welcome. [patriot]

then you have 2 options, stick with stock, or upgrade to mass air + plus a cheap cam [Roll Eyes]

or forget the cam and install 1.7 rockers and replace your valvesprings if they have over 80k miles

I think you're also forgetting that the 86's pistons aren't notched for valve reliefs. Unless you're really good with cam setups, it'll be bent-valve-city for ya...
