alright guys here is the deal: while driving my car('96 gt) it will loose fuel pressure randomly. it drives fine otherwise, as far as performance and such. it does it mainly in the range of 3rd to 5th gear but i dont know if that has anything to do with it. my fuel pressure gauge goes crazy sometimes too, and when that happens i cannot even accelorate. often times i have to pull over and turn off my car, otherwise it just shuts off. i dont know what it is but it would be great if i could get some input. here is what i have if it helps: 80mm maf,42lb inj., 255intern. pump w/trex,superchip,s/c 8 lbs. '03 dss mtr. [patriot]

Your aftermarket in-tank pump might be going out. I'm on my second one now, and I know a lot of other people have had to replace them as well.

Doesn't mean it's not bad. I am very disappointed in the quality and reliability of those pumps

I just went through a pressure problem and after replacin everything I finally noticed that the little 1-inch-long hose connecting the pump to the fuel line in the tank was rotted and leaking----2 cents worth of hose--from now on I always replace that when I change pumps

Did you check the relay? It can sometimes cause similar probs.
