Did you remember to hook the Ebrake cable back up to the caliper?....
Did you use caliper grease on the caliper pins?...Did you buy new brake pads?...

Go in reverse about 10-15 MPH and then slam on your brakes while holding the whell stright so you don't lose it. This will thightin up your E-brake ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

So, basically after you changed your frozen caliper, your hand brake works worse than it did before?...
My 94 Hand brake sucked!....I could never lock the wheels up with it....
What about the left rear caliper, are you sure nothing is wrong with that?...
..............................
There is one thing that I can think of...On the back of the inboard pad(the one on the piston side of the caliper) there should be raised dots...If these raised dots line up with the slots on the caliper piston it won't allow the rear piston to unscrew(because the rear piston screws out and doesn't come directly out like the front)...If the piston can't unscrew, then it can't apply pressure to the pads and squeeze the rotor....
Check and see how the pads are in there....

The parking brake cable not being adjustable is correct. If you have ever replaced brake pads, you know the process involves pushing the brake caliper piston back into it's bore. However, since the parking brake mechanism is built into the rear brake caliper, the process is different for the rear calipers than it is for the front. The rear caliper piston does not just "push" back in. It needs to be "rotated" back into it's bore. If your parking brake is not working properly after brake pad replacement (or in your case, caliper replacement), the brake caliper piston can also be rotated out of it's bore slightly to reduce piston travel when engaging the parking brake and should therefore tighten up the parking brake adjustment (it will also firm up the brake pedal slightly).

Did you turn the caliper piston out to get the pads close to the rotor? Turn the piston out just until you can't get the caliper (with pads) on, then back it off until the next slot in the piston lines up with the tab on the back of the pad.
Just a thought Brian
