It really depends on the combo. High horsepower cars will see a gain with the long tubes while lower horsepower cars can actually lose power with them. I would say that anything with 375 horsepower and up could see a gain with them.

Not too big of a difference! I did that exact swap, and noticed a little more in the mid range. If you have to smog the car then Its not worth it. Just my .02!

its not a stroker or anything

probably more closer to around 300 or so

Edelbrock 6037s, E cam, Cobra upper and lower w/plenum spacer/65mm tb, 76mm c&L,1.6s, 30 lb injectors, centerforce clutch, hurst shifter, 3:55's, alum driveshaft blah blah thats about it

Think the gain will be worth it now?

If I smog my car now, then put the LT's on the smog is good for 90 days at least I think. My friend said he'd help me and he said it is a pita [Frown]

you'll gain some midrange power, but i think longtubes are worth it for the sound alone. they are so badass, they quiet your car down at idle and cruising then at WOT, it just goes loud all of a sudden
