Hi All,

I just have some questions for you experts out there. I am thinking of changing over to trick flow heads with a matching cam (probably trick flow stage 1, e303, steeda #19..lots out there).

What kind of problems (if any) will I run into with the cam choice? I currently have a stock cam with a stock cobra computer with a piggy back autologic chip (chip is only tuned for the stock cam though). Are any of these cams smog legal (meaning will it pass smog in California)? How will they behave with the cobra's computer? Which one is the best for a stock block, out of the box TW heads, supercharger, and stock manifolding? If none of these cams will enable me to pass smog how much will the replacement heads give me powerwise/driveability wise?

Thanks for any information guys...:joy:

be careful with what heads you use with those cams...your piston to valve clearance might be too close. the E303 cam will definately pass smog. (the E stands for Emissions) i'm not sure about the other cams
