I got a pacesetter h pipe from a buddy and am having problems installing it on my 95 gt. The collectors from the headers to the h pipe collectors will not bolt together I can only get one of the two bolts to go on. I need someone elses advice on how to istall this thing, I dont want to put the stock h pipe back on.

If at first you dont succeed, try again.... [patriot]

H-pipes are a bitch sometimes....You just need to muscle it in there...Don't tighten any of the bolts until you have all of the boltsin place....

Good luck

sorry bout my prior description, was tired and still pissed off he he. Well what it looks like is that the header flange will not allow the h pipe flange to slide over enough so I can shove the exhaust studs into the flange for me to bolt up, I have gotten the drivers side on but I am still having the same problems on the passenger side and it looks as the lower connectors for the h pipe itself (the slide connector to make it a complete h) wont meet up. If that makes any sense.
Thanks for the help.

Drill the holes on the H-pipe flange a little bigger so that the studs from the header flange will squeeze in.... [patriot]

thanks for the help guys H PIPES ARE A BITCH know that I finally got it installed. What I did was removed the upper stud on the passenger side and just ran a thinner bolt and and nut and tightened them down and as for the lower H connectors I beat them with a hammer they were close so I didnt freak out about hammering them. I am happy with the sound with the flows and it helped my bottom end, now I need to get my timing back up at 14 and I'll be happy, well until I get money he he. Thanks again guys....
