Is it ok to retorque your head bolts? i put tfs high ports on about 8,000 miles ago and it looks like there is a little oil starting to come out from the front of the passenger head where the gasket is.

Theres a certain procedure for this which usually involves untightening the head bolts a half turn and than re-torqing them in the specific order of center out. Give Bob a call at Gromm Racing Heads in San Jose and he'll tell ya. Did you seal the lower bolts with red loctite?

The oil is probably from your valve cover... [dance]

Do a compression or leak down test, you shouldn't need to retorque the heads after 8k miles...It would be pointless retorque-ing the heads with a bad head gasket you just have to take them off anyway... [patriot]
