I'm looking to run a 15x3.5 and 15x8 set up on my 98 cobra. What is the proper backspacing for these wheels? the rears should be a 5.5" correct? and just for extra reassurance, what is the bolt pattern?

Also, it is my understanding that a 15x8 with a 5.5 bs will not require grinding, and the 15x3 will only require a 30mm spacer.

Please help out guys! I may have found my track set up today and want to get them as quick as possible!

Thanks!!

i would get the 5.5 b/s for the rears. the bolt pattern is 5x4.5....but draglites have dual patterns so you cant really fail on that one.

I have 15x10 draglites with a 6.5 bs so I think the 5.5 bs with the 15x8 should be fine. As far as the skinnies go I wasn't able to just run the spacer in the front, it cleared the brakes but the length of the studs was not long enough with the spacer on.

The front is what sucks on your car and my set up as well. You definatly need a spacer. Bunchmyfunky has em. Its Bunchmyfunkys responsibility to provide his cohorts with said spacers, as needed. [Big Grin] You may test fit my 15x8 welds w/ 5.5 backspace sometime if youd like. I suggest skipping that size and going with the 15x10s that Mark and Drew run and grow into them.
