Ok, so I finally did the mass air conversion, got everything hooked up. Started the car and it idled really low and then died. Started it again and it idled really low so I played with the throttle to the engine going so the motor could warm up. Then, I took it around the block to see how it ran and at low throttle, it runs great, but when I get on it, it bogs badly and it feels much slower than it did with the speed density. It also popped a little bit when I got on it. Here is whats done to the car:
TFS H/C/I/RR FMS 24# injectors C&L 76mm for 24# injectors 70mm throttle body.
Anyone have any ideas about what is wrong?

Timing and plugs should be ok. I didn't need to mess with them to do the conversion. I'll check the fuel pressure after dinner. I didn't mess with the TPS either.
Another thing. When I push the clutch in, the rpms don't fall as fast as they used to, like my foot is still on the accelerator, but its not... could that have something to do with the TPS? [ February 06, 2004, 05:24 PM: Message edited by: The Nick ]

The culprit was a lazy splice, a vaccum line that needed to be pulled and then pluged and some pins that needed to be moved. The directions were misleading and I was lazy on the splice.
Anyways. It runs great now.
