Author Topic: what gasket # for bbk 1/5/8" long tube. street_illegal_stang ¯ Member # 1554 posted                              well,for the last few months i use mr.gasket cuz thats all i could find that'll work..problem is that mr.gasket brand keep blowing out(mr.cardboard gaskets)..i replaced 2 sets. i need a felpro number..or just a better brand to go with. remember that the bbk headers have oval ports and not square. thank you for your time. I was blowing my Felpro gaskets a lot and my header bolts were always backing themselves out a lot too....After I put some lock-tite on my header bots and used the most expensive Mr.Gasket exhaust gaskets they sell at Vic Hubbard, I never had a problem~(sorry forgot the part number)...
