Can anyone help. My car has a stock motor and I was woundering which intake w/ TB would make the best horsepower. I am leaning towards a Holley Systemax but I have heard they don't do to good on stock motors. These are the only performance MODS I have, I don't know if they will make a difference on intake selection. Thanx in advace. *Full MSD setup. *94-95 130 amp Alternator *Cold air *JBA shorties, h-pipe, 2 Chamber Flows *24lb.inj + 75mm MAF (Being installed w/ intake) *190LPH Fuel Pump *Underdrive pulleys *Edelbrock water pump *3-core aluminum rad. *355 gears [ January 12, 2004, 06:51 AM: Message edited by: SwoLLeN MeMBeR ]

if you're only going to do the intake (and not the heads or cam ever), it doesn't really matter, any intake is going to add the same 10 HP or so to a stock 5.0 HO

Edelbrock Performer with a 65mm TB....If you plan on putting aftermarket heads on in the future, then I would just buy the 70mm TB to save money....

I think this is a great idea. It would also save me a little money in the long run. I have also seen resolts when it was combined with a little port work and a pair of RPM heads. They were pritty impressive.
Does anyone else any ideas or opinions?
