Is there any good info that you can toss my way cuz i get the whole concept .. connect to battery... connect to igntion.. the only one that i am confused is how to connect it to read the rpm's any help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks

Black to ground. Red to switched power. Green to the negative side of the ignition coil or to the tach output of your aftermarket MSD/ignition box if you have one. Very easy install.
