I am going to go with the Nitto 555's all around. My question is how big do you think I can go? I want to keep around a 30-35 series tire but want to go a lot wider. I have all four of my fenders rolled with the splash guards removed in the front and have 17" rims. I am going to also remove my quad shocks completley to fit a bigger tire in the rear. How wide of a tire can I fit in the front?

I have 35 series on there right now. You dont think the 275's will rub on the A-Arms up front?

255's in front on a fox body is the biggest and it will rub on turns. I have 295/35/18's in the rear of my '91, but 235 up front due to the coil overs, before i used 255's in front and it would rub on u-turns. 18x9 roush wheels with a 24 mm offset. The 255's rubbed on the frame rail a tad. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

It's gonna come down to the back spacing. My bullets with 235's rub on the strut when I go over ruff bumps on the freeway. I'm dumb.

I just found this picture of a daily driven fox with 295/50/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's in the rear.

So to fit your 295's in the back what modifcations did you have to do to make them work? Flip or remove the quad shock?
Do you think a 17x9 rim would rub up front with 255's with the fenders rolled and the splash guards removed? Oh and can you post any pictures of your car with the 295's? [ November 02, 2003, 09:37 PM: Message edited by: 91sleeper ]

17x9's in front will make the inner wheel rub on your A arms. Do you really want to run 275's in the front?? Are you going to road race or something? If not, that's over-kill.

I have 17x9" rims on there right now with 235's and I want to go wider in the front since I have all fenders rolled and the splash guards removed in the front. I was asking how wide I can go in the front and the rear.

i had 255's in the front, no problems with the tires rubbing, but the cobra r did rub the a arm, so i just ground out the a arm and rear welded, took car of that problem, and i only had to notch the a arm like a 1/4 inch so strength isnt an issue
i had 275 drag radials in the back, but they measured 11.5 around, my 275 bfg's only measure 10.5, so the old dgrag radial was like a 305, it hit a little bit on the inner fender when i would corner real hard and get some body roll, but then i took a sledge to the inner fender and no more rubbing
