Asking for a buddy of mine, since i dont have any experience with them.
Are the powerdys BD-11A blower systems any good?

Powerdynes suck ass.. But if yopur looking for a daily driven supercharger.. i guess they are ok..

BD-11. 430rwhp. 460rwtq. Had the blower on the car for around 70,000 miles.
Obviously mine is an oddity - but if you don't overspin them (I see 8psi) they'll run long and run quiet.
That being said - I'll be going to a larger blower some time next year.
It's not uncommon for the internal belt to go out or for the "dry" bearing to go out after 30k miles. Both are cheap and easy to replace. A friend of mine just changed out both last weekend in under 3hrs including R&Ring the blower itself.
Most of my friends run S-trim Vortechs. They also put on hearing protection if they pop the hood with the engine running.
My car, on the other hand, shocks the hell out of people next to the dyno who had NO CLUE the car was blown.
