ok, this is not a ford question first off, its just a general question,

my problem is my friend and i just dropped in his rebuilt motor hooked everything up and the moment we hooked up the battery it fried a relay/fuse labeled "BAT" ( i'm sure that stands for battery)why would this happen? we fried 2 new relay/fuses. the vehicle is a 1986 NISSAN 300ZX NON-TURBO. we checked the battery positive and negative and they seem to be hooked up correctly. what the hell could it be? PLEASE HELP. [Frown]
