Guy's

I plan on installing a blower on my 408. The problem is what do I go with, I know I have asked the same question about a month ago, but I ma not sure. I have a new T-Trim, but I dont know if a Novi 2000 is better or not. I running a bullit stroker 8:5 comp bulit by Keith Craft with a Anderson B51 cam, Brodix track 1 M2 CNC proted heads, Edelbrock RPM manifold, 85mm TB, 50lb injectors, 80mm mass air, BBK 1 3/4 long tubes, Viper T56 and a complete Griggs suspension (Coilovers @ all 4 corners, DBL wide torque arm),currenly @ N/A it produces 400rwhp&420rwtq @ 5500 RPM. What HP and torque gains will I see with either blower

Chris M. who used to post here has a Bayshore Built 408 with a Novi 2000. He'll tell you a million and one reasons why not to go with the T-Trim. His car put out some impressive dyno numbers, well over 600 rear wheel. If you check out RaccoonRacing.com -he posts there.

You should really be comparing the YS-trim and the Novi 2000. The t-trim is not capable of the same power as the Novi or YS.

Between the YS and Novi 2000 there are no real performance differences. Both are capable of over 800rwhp. The biggest difference is the brackets. The Novi 2000 has far superior brackets and it less prone to belt slip at high rpms or small pulley's.

The supercharger brakets caught my eye when i first saw your car. Very stout. Then the paint, Then the wheels, Then the.. and so on. Dam! that thing is nice. [patriot]

Ditch that intake! Look into a 351w TFS-R intake. If you already have the T trim, then just pulley it up for more power. A pulley swap will be much more cost effective than a supercharger swap. T-trims are good to 700+ rwhp with the right supporting cast. I say stick with what you have and adress other restrictions in your combo.

I would look into the spyder intake or a Victor 5.8 intake. If your gonna do a blower swap, Procharger D1R or D2R! [Smile]
