Is there a trick to get the hood latch to work on a Cervinis hood and a sn95???

The hood bolts on just fine and fits great but the latch won't close.

Please help.

is the part that latches down alligned correctly with the recieving end?

I found the problem...I had to raise the latch assembly. It latches good now. The only problem is that rubs a little in the back passenger side and front driver side.
