I need an evaporator. What year can I use for an 87? Does it have to be from a v8 car or are they all the same? Is there a way to convert to R134a that won't be too expensive? Give me all you got.

you can buy one of those conversion kits from kragen, but my friend that does HVAC installs told me that the r12 to r134a conversion means you need to replace a bunch of seals and stuff. didnt you get that one from cheap?

He doesnt' know if it's from a 93 or a 95 and I know even less if v6 matters or if they are the same refrigerant. I ain't trippin if i gotta stay R12 though cuz my dad's got shitloads of it that he bought before they became illegal or whatever.

Uhhh! I'll be there, give me your number so we can hook up, I'd like to check out your nitrous set up too if that's cool with you. It is an evaporator right?
