Who had to send there air meter back to get re-calibrated? How did you know it was the air meter? I don't know if it is my computer, or the air meter.

What makes you think that the maf is off

sorry to steal the post, but if a pro-m is not calibrated correctly, will a dyno-tune be able to fix that?

Yes, but its not recomended. Its a "hack fix" and chances are it won't completely be fixed. You're always better off running the proper calibration meter.

Easy solution...Put the stock MAF back in...If it runs better its a MAF problem...
I sent my Pro-M back three times, finaly I talked to Jim Gonzales (Owner of Pro-Flow-Tech) and he sent me out an optimizer...The optimizer adjusts the MAF voltage, so you can tune the best idle and high speed runs on your car...
Also, if you have a 90* elbow infront of the Pro-M, the meter might not be picking up air correctly..
Good luck!

Glenn, don't you have a chip in your car. Didn't you provide Byron with your Pro-M flow data? If this is all correct then switching your MAF to a stock meter won't work.
What exactly is your car doing? Just running rich? Did this just start happening all of the sudden?

I have a Pro-M on my car and when I changed to 30 lb injectors I went directly to a custom Autologic chip from Powertrain Dynamics and the car runs perfect. The one and only experience with C and L meters has been a horrible one. I built my friend's 93 with AFR 165's, Holley intake,30 lb injectors, and an F303 cam. We got the C and L with the correct calibration and you guessed it: The car would run poorly. Amazingly it idled like a champ with the stock MAF sensor. It was a costly proposition because it cost about $200 for the few hours it took to diagnose the problem at a local shop figuring out that a chip would be the solution. After a new chip from Powertrain Dynamics the car runs just fine now. I still wonder to this day if the car would've ran fine if we would've bought a Pro-M to begin with.
