There is a guy in my area selling a set of ford bullitt rims with decent factory tires still on em. They are the regular grey ones. He wants $500 for em. I was wondering if these rims will fit on my 89 coupe. I do have the basic 5 lug set-up that utilizes my original spindles with drums on the rear. My concerns are fit and function as well as appearance. I myself have never seen a fox with these rims. I am looking for facts and opinions:).

You've never seen it? That's cuz I'm the only one that's done it... [Big Grin]

Not bad huh? Dont' got wider then 255 out back or 235... maybe 245 up front and you should be ok. The rotor need to be slightly modded along with the wheel for it to fit correctly. Also the front center caps wont fit in right without some custom fabrication. I'll let you figure that out... Hope u like me car. [Whoo Whooooo!]

im about to do the same thing but i think as long as u have SN95 spindles you should be fine with center caps and all.

Oh heck yeah, that looks tight! But you had to modify your rotors and the wheels themselves? I think I'm ready to do the work, could you or somebody tell me a little of what's involved; grinding, cutting, prof. machining, etc. Thanx!

You'll need a grinder, a file and some double stick tape. takes about 10 minutes per wheel and you only need to fab the front. The back go on without a problem. Good luck.
