Just out of curiosity, would a bad / slipping harmonic balancer cause slight timing problems since the timing reluctor is on the crank?

How would a harmonic balancer slip? Doesn't it have a guide tooth or use the same bolts as the crank pulley or something?

Its basicly two rings held together by a rubber layer.

As for the orignal poster's question.... I don't know, its a 4.6 [patriot]
