Ok so i just got this 90GT like a little over a week ago, and ofcourse he had to put the cats back on to smog it..so anyway I don't know why but lately the rpms will stay up at like 2 1/2 after slipping it into neutral, but if i kill the engine and turn it back on it doesn't do it anymore for the remainder of that driving period. any ideas what this is? Could it be b/c we put the cats back on? pls help

did it do it before he put the stock pipe on, if not how sure are you it didn't? Try reset your computer.

ok, first off do the usual reset of the computer. this will let you know if thats all it needed. Exsaust leaks are EASY to know if they are there, you can't miss them. tick tick tick, or some other noise. If it is a very suddle leak you might try driving next to a big wall, like a tunnel or freeway, this makes the sound bounce back and you and you can hear if it has a leak. Other than that if a leak isn't obvious: IT's not there! They are laud and annoying. Reset the computer and I would think that would fix it, could be another issue but I doubt it. When you change exsaust you should reset the computer anyways to let the computer totally relearn its new enviroment..
