Here is my question:
I was told that on a Fox body Stang...the Cobra R rims are 17x9 with a 24mm offset and that works perfect.

Now the problem is the rims I want to buy are the 03 cobra rims which are 17x9 with a 26mm offset. Does this mean the 03 Cobra rims will sit in farther? Will this be a major problem....and is a 2mm offset difference really all that much??

2mm isnt shit, gr40coupe i think has 03 cobras on his car, so it works, the only u might have a problem with is the rim coming in contact with the lower a arm, like i do on my convt, but that happens at the very lock of the steering, not a big problem, my 255's hit my fenders before the arms, i wouldnt worry about it

I'm doing a 5 lug conversion and the rims are the stock polished factory ones off of an 03 Cobra. I actually called MM today and they confirmed that it will work fine without any problems.

Here is exactly what they said just incase anyone else needs to know this info:
The front will be no problem...but could rub if you run 255's or higher, and that is from lock to lock like 66 AC Cobra said.
The back will only run into issues if you do the regular 5 lug drum upgrade and keep the stock Fox axle length. If you do then the rim will hit the quad shocks or the tail pipes if you run a really wide tire. In my case I don't care because I have turn downs and I'm removing the quad shocks.

Thanks for the reply guys....also does anyone know where I can see some pics of a Fox body with 03 Cobra rims?
