I plan on adding a 8-12# s-trim within a few months (hoping for end of may-ish) and i know its not going to run anywhere nearly as cool as it is now and Its time for a new radiator anyways (the stock one looks like shit etc etc)
Any suggestions? I'm hoping to spend under 300$ for it, is that reasonable?
Anything to avoid? Any good place to get it at?
thanks, rick

Avoid Pep Boys (because they suck) and get a 3 core from Kragen (same as pep) for less than $200 with a life time warranty.

Yes it will. Put in a 180 thermostat if you haven't already, flush the system and you should be fine. I have with all of my blower/nos cars every year and every Wednesday. Great in Reno's hot ass weather as well.

Brass is good and aluminum is a little heavier as stated in the fordmuscle.com article. I wonder how cool a brass radiator would look? I may want to look into that

Damn those are some clean a$$ welds no joke! The only radiator I saw for 87-93 stangs was one for an automatic tranny cooler as well. Do they make one without that tranny cooler?

We've had great results with the Fluidyne radiators we carry. I use one in my '89 race car and had one in my '93 Cobra. Excellent quality. I usually keep them in stock (4.6L and 5.0L, even for Vipers!) and have good pricing on them, as well! Contact me for pricing and availability. If I don't have it in stock, it's never more than a day or so away.
