Hell yeah there is a difference with your car. But it doesn't matter if it is a convertible or not. Helps the car handle better and in some cases, help prolong the body life of the car. Words of advice: if you have a convertible lower it to whatever you want, GET SUBFRAME CONNECTORS, and get some matrix bars or something because I used to have a vert and I know those bad boys FLEX BADLY!!! I know folks wanna go fast and shit but with a convertible, you HAVE TO HAVE SUSPENSION FIRST!!!! You will thank me later [burnout] [burnout]

as far as i know, there is no difference between springs for a vert or the coupe. my springs were originally on an 01 Yellow GT Vert, and I have a 01 GT min grey coupe. they're steeda springs by the way, and it dropped the car around 1.5" all the way around.. best of luck! here's a picture... -

Generally the convt. spring will be stiffer to compensate for the extra weight...

Its ok to put stiffer/convt. springs on a coupe, but i wouldnt go with coupe springs on a convt, it might be too soft..
