My car has never idled quite right since I got the h/i/c. Every so often I would need to gas it just slightly if it surged and it would correct itself and idle right. Then starting a couple days ago it will idle like **** about 40% of the time and even slightly gassing it wont save it. Almost like its better to just let it die and start it up when the light turns green otherwise everyone will think im revving at them. ITS REALLY ANNOYING!! Everything is 100% when Im moving though, no problems, runs strong. Its just the damn idle! As for codes, engine off its a perfect 11, and when it idles right another 11, but when it idles like **** it doesnt run long enough to do the test. Any solutions?

I dont know a damn thing about fixing cars...but on my 94 5.0 it would idle like shit for a long time and I didnt even have mods. I got a diagnostic on it and everything was fine, but the guy said my mass air meter was dirty so he cleaned it and it was back to normal. I'm not making any promises but its somethin to check out

I'll try cleaning the MAF again, did it a couple months ago. TPS is at .85. Anyone have an extra IAB?

checked. no vacuum leaks. pulls about 12" of vacuum @ idle.

I reset the TPS at .95 and the car idles like before (good most of the time). Im pretty sure my IAC/IAB isnt working, I unhooked it when it was idling and it didn't change the idle at all. Anyone have an extra IAB/IAC I can have/borrow/buy to see?
