I wanted to get an autometer electric oil temp gauge for my 90 5.0. The thing is i dont want to drill a whole in my oil pan cause i dont have the proper tools. I was wondering if any knew if the oil temp sender unit can screw in where one of the oil pan drain plugs are? Also for the electric tranny temp gauge i heard the sender can screw into the trannys service port, is that true?
