Author Topic: Bits and bytes shadow50 ¯ Member # 2265 posted                              I've been working on my newly installed 92 efi system in my 84 convertible. The smog Ref wants to see my computer talking to his scanner through the harness. does anyone know why my computer won't talk to the scanner? It's a new ford harness but an old computer from a friend. It did have a chip put in it too. the chip is now gone but I'm sure they didn't really take the best care of the computer. You need to hook up a break out box to the fox bodies to see what's going on. Also I have borrowed an "auto xray" scanner from a friend. I didn't complete the test last time I tried it. but perhaps with my new computer coming soon, i'll get the results I need. -------------------- 84 5.0 vertible balanced .
