Between the two intakes it would depend on what type of heads you will be mounting these on and are you going to put a blower on it eventually or anytime soon?

decide on what heads and try to get an idea on what cam want and then pick your intake. and dont get the maf untill you get your head cam intake combo, cause youll probably need bigger injectors [burnout]

I have the holley intake, But that cause i will be getting blown next year. I think if you will be all motor i would go with Trick Flow. Good luck.

I heard the Holley is grteat for blown applications.

I will be getting AFR 165's soon with the edlebrock victor manifold. I heard the edlebrocks work the best with AFR heads.

what you really need is a ford explorer (aka GT-40/cobra) intake that you can pick up from a wrecker for maybe $50, look for 5.0L V8 exploders [Big Grin] [burnout]

just kidding, track heat is a great intake. it's a pretty good revver though, the street heat would definitely work better on stock heads.

I'm in kind of the same bind myself. For now I run GT-40 iron heads and a performer rpm intake (ok typhoon), I'm positive an edelbrock performer upper would make more power which is why I bought one, lol [Big Grin]

Yes, save up your money. A holley or TFS track heat intake will hurt you with stock heads and cam.

Do heads intake and cam all at the same time so you can match everything up and get the best combo possible.

so what step to take next? i have pretty much all the bolt ons, full exhaust, ignition, gears, etc... It would be absolutely pointless to upgrade the throttle body or mass air sensor?? Just lookin for some quick speed while i save up for the big engine work...considered nitrous but not sure yet. Maybe ill focus on looks some appearance items [Cool]

Get rims, while saving for your intake cam and manifold.

yeah, thats true but thats also a big chunk of money.... What i was thinking about doing for my body is trading in my saleen parts with someone who has cobra parts.. Im thinking about changing:

my saleen wing >> 93 cobra wing
my saleen bumper>> stock LX bumper (turndown exhaust)
my saleen side skirts >> cobra or LX side skirts
my saleen front fascia >> gonna replace it with a cervinis one...

All probably on chrome cobra r's or ponies, now im just trying to imagine how it would look [Confused] . or maybe i should just try diff. rims on this car, i dunno [Confused] ?
