Author Topic: Woo Hoo Head Gasket Change 90gtverrt ¯ Member # 1437 posted                              Me an FordPny are doing some head gasket changin today. Were gonna shoot for 1 long ass day to get it done. Any advice from anyone? Make sure you do all your "under car" work (unbolting the header from H pipe, etc) BEFORE you drain the engine coolant...even if you have a bucket, for some reason..it always gets on the garage floor and working/laying in that stuff ain't fun. Also, remember to unbolt the crossover tube from the back of the head (13mm bolt)...folks always seem to forget that one.. Question? Why are you changing them? Did it actually blow, or is it just leaking coolant?
